Our beautiful, modern nursery facilities are open to children four years old and younger. While parents are welcome to keep their children with them in the services, we encourage you to use our nursery. Our nurseries open around 9:30 a.m. Parents should pick up their children as soon as possible after the end of the services (around 11:30 a.m.).
Our children's classes are for children ages 5 through grade 6. Class begins around 9:45 a.m. and end around 10:15 a.m. Teens are welcome to attend either the appropriate children's class or the pastor's New Life Bible Class, which meets in the pool observation area. Teachers, please click here for this week's lesson.
Kids who attended the children's classes are welcome to attend our children's church, which takes place in the Tween Center from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Teens should attend the adult services, held in the Fitness Center.

Gateway Christian Academy
Founded in 1983 as Parklane Baptist Academy and then known as First Baptist Academy in Cahokia, Gateway Christian Academy (GCA), home of the Swordsmen, serves the Gateway Baptist Church family as well as those in our community by providing elementary and secondary education with a Christ-centered focus. We currently operate on a very limited scale. We look forward to the day when we are again able to broadly serve our community through Christian education. Click here for more information on GCA for prospective and former students.
We are happy to arrange transportation for adults and families who need a ride to our church, within our capabilities. Our location is conveniently located across the street from the College Metrolink station at SWIC.
