Coronavirus Response - Updated 5/23/2021
***In-person Sunday school and Sunday morning services have resumed. Sunday school begins at 10:00 a.m. and continues for about 30 minutes. There will be one class for adults, and one class for children and teens. The Sunday morning church service begins at 10:45 a.m. and lasts about 45 minutes. Per our host facility, fully vaccinated individuals are no longer required to wear a mask in the building. The state of Illinois strongly recommends unvaccinated people to continue wearing a mask in public. If you are vaccinated and prefer to continue wearing a mask, you are welcome to do so. If you are feeling ill, please stay home and stay safe. We will continue to live stream our Sunday morning services on the church's Facebook page.***
Health and Safety Requirements for Entry to In-Person Services
Per our host facility, the East Belleville YMCA, if you answer YES to any of the following questions, you should not attend in-person services. The YMCA reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone who exhibits the following:

Have you or anyone in your household had a fever or taken a fever-reducing medicine in the last 72 hours?
Have you experienced any cold or flu-like symptoms in the last 72 hours such as cough, sore throat, difficulty breathing, respiratory illness, loss of taste or smell, etc.?
Have you or anyone in your household had close contact* or cared for someone being tested or confirmed with COVID-19 in the last 14 days?
Have you or anyone in your household had close contact* or live with anyone who has been told to self-quarantine in the last 14 days?
Close contact includes prolonged time in the same room without a medical-grade face mask or PPE, direct physical contact such as hugging or kissing, or contact with respiratory secretions. Medical professionals treating COVID-19 patients should shower and change clothes before coming to our services.
Prayer for Coronavirus
Please join our church in prayer for those who are sick, those who are fearful, and those who mourn the loss of a loved one because of the coronavirus. Pray for the doctors, nurses, and healthcare personnel. Pray for truck drivers, store employees, and all essential workers. Pray for the police, fire, and military. Pray for the President, the governor, and other leaders. We trust our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, in all these things.
