Coronavirus Response - Updated 11/19/2020
***Per our host facility, the East Belleville YMCA, all facility rentals are on pause beginning Friday, November 20, in response to the state of Illinois' newest mitigation requirements. As a result, we have shifted back to holding Sunday morning services on Facebook live at 10:45 a.m. The YMCA director is hopeful that this pause will last just a couple of weeks. We will post updates here as they become available. Please pray for our state and country as the virus runs through its second peak.***
Health and Safety Requirements for Entry to In-Person Services
Per our host facility, the East Belleville YMCA, if you answer YES to any of the following questions, you should not attend in-person services. The YMCA reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone who exhibits the following:
Have you or anyone in your household traveled out of the country or to a high-risk area in the last 14 days?
Have you or anyone in your household had a fever or taken a fever-reducing medicine in the last 72 hours?
Have you experienced any cold or flu-like symptoms in the last 72 hours such as cough, sore throat, difficulty breathing, respiratory illness, loss of taste or smell, etc.?
Have you or anyone in your household had close contact* or cared for someone being tested or confirmed with COVID-19 in the last 14 days?
Have you or anyone in your household had close contact* or live with anyone who has been told to self-quarantine in the last 14 days?
Close contact includes prolonged time in the same room without a medical-grade face mask or PPE, direct physical contact such as hugging or kissing, or contact with respiratory secretions. Medical professionals treating COVID-19 patients should shower and change clothes before coming to our services.
Prayer for Coronavirus
Please join our church in prayer for those who are sick, those who are fearful, and those who mourn the loss of a loved one because of the coronavirus. Pray for the doctors, nurses, and healthcare personnel. Pray for truck drivers, store employees, and all essential workers. Pray for the police, fire, and military. Pray for the President, the governor, and other leaders. We trust our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, in all these things.
Our goals for 2020 are as follows: to impact 20 families for Christ through our church; to win 100 people to Christ through our church, and to spend 20 percent more time with God as individuals in our church, in the coming year. What would the Lord have you do for Him in 2020?
